Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Lawrence Hopewell Trail. Volunteers are essential to our effort to keep the trail and the organization moving forward. Donating a little time can make a huge impact.

Interested in Trail Monitoring? We rely on a cohort of volunteers to be the ‘eyes and ears’ on the trail, keeping it safe for other users.

How about Trail Maintenance? Bring a group from school or work to perform some essential seasonal trail maintenance and share the day giving back.

What about Spokes & Skills? This youth cycling program helps young riders build confidence, independence, and important bike safety skills while having fun on the trail. Each session includes hands-on learning and guided rides, and we rely on dedicated volunteers to help create a supportive and encouraging environment for participants.

And how about Events? The LHT’s signature events- Full Moon Bike Ride, Trail and Treat Ride, and 5k and Fun Run – are wonderful community events allowing hundreds of people to celebrate the trail. Each event is unique and requires lots of helping hands to make them a success.
