START / END:  Carson Road – Province Line Road / 206

ACCESS:  Access to the LHT is from Carson Road at the north end, Province Line Road , or Route 206.

PARKING: There is a gravel parking area on the north side of Carson Road approximately 0.2 miles west of Province Line Road. Addition parking to the south is in a small lot on the south side of Princeton Pike across from Foxcroft Drive. 


The BMS- Lawrenceville segment of the LHT begins on the south side of Carson Road. After crossing Carson Road from the Carson Road Woods segment (segment 5) the trail follows a paved path along the eastern perimeter of the Lawrenceville campus of Bristol Myers Squibb. Near the end of the segment, the trail turns and runs close to Province Line Road on an elevated bike lane. This segment ends at the intersection of Province Line Road and Route 206.

The LHT passes the attractive landscaped grounds of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lawrenceville Campus. Many trail users may recognize BMS as a pharmaceutical company but they may not realize the lengthy history it has and the major contributions made to global health Founded in 1887, BMS manufactures prescription pharmaceuticals in several therapeutic areas. With headquarters in New York, BMS has a large presence in Lawrence and Hopewell Township with their R & D facilities.

The BMS- Lawrenceville segment is owned and managed by Bristol Myers Squibb.
