The LHT connection between the Mercer County Equestrian Center and the trail at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Hopewell Campus is open and the final step, the crossing of Rocky Hill-Pennington Road is now completed as well.
The beautiful, brand new bridge, which had been closed to bicycles for 4 months and to vehicular traffic for much longer than that, opened this spring, complete with shoulders wide enough for bikes and cars to pass in both directions.
And now the connection from Old Mill Rd., to BMS-Hopewell is open too. This means that trail users exit the Equestrian Center, continue on Old Mill Road, over the bridge and then onto the new path that connects with the trail at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Hopewell Campus.
