LHTRAIL LANDSCAPE WALK

SAT OCT 5 – 9:00 AM to NOON
CARSON ROAD WOODS

Join us for a creative walk along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail.
Enjoy a morning of nature sketching and “slow looking” at our autumn landscape.

Area artist and president of the N.J. Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Jeff Charlesworth will demonstrate sketching techniques along the way and encourage you to find your own artist’s hand and a new eye for careful looking. Use your sketchbook to collect visual memories of trees- their structure and branching, leaves, wildflowers, seed pods, and views of the larger landscape. You’ll come away having seen nature in ways you haven’t before.

Date: Saturday, October 5, 9am-12 noon.
Location: Carson Road Woods (meet at the LHT entrance at Belleview Terrace, and park along the street.)
