In celebration of National Trails Day on June 4th, the Lawrence Hopewell Trail will host a bike ride which will explore History Along the Trail.
We will meet at the Bergen Street parking lot of Village Park in Lawrenceville and then bike along the trail stopping at several significant historical markers. The total ride will be about 10 miles and will take us along paved and gravel sections of the trail. We will be doing some road riding as well, however on safe roads with wide shoulders.
Please be prepared for a variety of surfaces– hybrid or trail bikes are recommended. This is a sightseeing ride beginning and ending near the village of Lawrenceville. Come along to discover our beautiful LHT and learn a bit of history along the way. (The ride will be led by LHT Board Member, Ruth Markoe)
