Connections are the essence of the LHT.
We connect people to people, people to nature, community to community, you to yourself. Time spent on the LHT helps you stay fit, clear your mind and reach for fulfillment. It connects people to work through a safe, healthy, environmentally sound way to commute, and connects present to past via historical points of interest on our trail.
The LHT’s 22-plus mile trail winding through Hopewell and Lawrence Townships offers safe access to various sections of the towns for kids, families, bicyclists, joggers, hikers and commuters. This family-oriented trail belongs to all of us and is designed to promote recreation, healthier lifestyles, better mobility and commuting, and a cleaner environment. Thousands of your neighbors support the trail and we hope you will, too.
