Section 9 – Mercer Meadows County Park – Hunt House to Rosedale

Description: The entire 1,000+ acre park, formerly known as Mercer County Park Northwest is being given a new look. The LHT will connect many sections of the new park but there will also be other trails and specific areas highlighting the parks historic telecommunications, industrial and agricultural uses as well as its many spectacular natural areas. Construction in some areas has already begun. Check back for regular updates.

This section of the LHT continues north and passes the historic 1760 Hunt House at Blackwell Road and then through heavily wooded sections to the pond and Rosedale Lake, meandering through parkland to Federal City Road in Hopewell Township, NJ. The restored and refurbished Hunt House is going to be the home of the Mercer County Parks Commission as well and the offices of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail.
